Join us on a guided hike to the most coveted view in Los Angeles — the Hollywood Sign. Along the way, you’ll learn about the history of Hollywood, the wonders of Griffith Park, the truth about where most movies are actually made, and much more.
As your guide leads you through the twisting canyons of Griffith Park and the historic neighborhood of Hollywoodland, don’t miss the many photo ops. There are views of Downtown LA, Lake Hollywood, the Griffith Observatory, and, of course, the Hollywood Sign itself from different vantage points. Our Hollywood Sign adventure hike is a strenuous 6 miles round-trip. The trail is steep. We compare it to climbing a 45-story building. It’s challenging but definitely an experience that’s worth it!
There are no restrooms located near the beginning and end of the hike. We recommend stopping by a restroom before you meet for your hike.
Plan for the warm Los Angeles weather. We recommend hats, sunscreen, and light clothing. Sturdy shoes are required. Choose something closed-toed and comfortable that you can hike in for 6 miles. You should also bring water for the hike, and we suggest bringing a lunch or snack to enjoy at the summit.
It’s just your group on this tour. Let us know what your areas of interest are, and our guide can tailor the hike to match. Whether you’re interested in the botany of Griffith Park, Hollywood magic, the history of the observatory and park, or just tips for your trip to LA, our guides are happy to oblige.
We understand plans change. We offer a 100% refund or the option to reschedule up to 24 hours before your tour start time. Cancellations within 24 hours aren’t eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
Our tours run rain or shine, so please check the local forecast to plan. In rare cases when we have to cancel for extreme weather, we’ll offer you the chance to reschedule or give a full refund.
Tips are always appreciated but never expected. They’re a great way to tell your guide they did an awesome job and show your appreciation.
