As your guide leads you through the twisting canyons of Griffith Park and the historic neighborhood of Hollywoodland, don’t miss the many photo ops. Great Griffith Park tour!
My husband and I had a great time on this tour! Lisa was very knowledgeable and entertaining about the different sights (man-made and natural) we saw. The hike wasn’t too difficult (we are both 70+) and Lisa made sure we went at a pace we could all enjoy. I would recommend this tour to both visitors and Angelenos; we live in LA but learned lots of information from Lisa!

Really enjoyed this hiking tour with Maria, Chris and Chris' dog! We were luckily enough to be the only customers so were able to get a wealth of information from our friendly and knowledgeable guides. This hike finishes right above the sign and the route up seemed pretty complicated, so I'd definitely recommend using these guys!

How difficult is this hike?
Our Hollywood Sign adventure hike is a strenuous 6 miles round-trip. The trail is steep. We compare it to climbing a 45-story building. It’s challenging but definitely an experience that’s worth it!
Are there restrooms available?
There are no restrooms located near the beginning and end of the hike. We recommend stopping by a restroom before you meet for your hike.
What should I bring?
Plan for the warm Los Angeles weather. We recommend hats, sunscreen, and light clothing. Sturdy shoes are required. Choose something closed-toed and comfortable that you can hike in for 6 miles. You should also bring water for the hike, and we suggest bringing a lunch or snack to enjoy at the summit.
How do you customize this private tour?
It’s just your group on this tour. Let us know what your areas of interest are, and our guide can tailor the hike to match. Whether you’re interested in the botany of Griffith Park, Hollywood magic, the history of the observatory and park, or just tips for your trip to LA, our guides are happy to oblige.
