Learn the truth of the events that led to the subprime mortgage crisis right here in the Financial District where it all went down. If you saw “The Big Short” and were surprised that so many many people could be so wrong with so much money at stake, this tour explains how it happened.
This tour isn’t just about 2008, though. We’ll walk through the history of New York as we wander the streets of Lower Manhattan, from the scars of the city’s first terrorist attack to the skyscraper race. And of course, we’ll grab a photo with the Wall Street Bull.

Reviews
Had a wonderful tour led by Emily! She was super informative and engaging — seemed to really know her stuff. It was cool to learn the history and context (both from the origins of the stock exchange and banking in NYC to the 'more recent' financial crisis) of so many sights and happenings in the financial district.
