Take a day trip from Paris to Normandy to discover its moving history and hear stories from your guide that enrich your visit. We take care of all the details so you don’t have to.

Start by meeting your expert tour guide at Musée de l’Homme in Paris. Here, you will board your comfortable, climate-controlled vehicle along with your group. We will drive for about an hour and a half and then have a short break at Bosgouet, where you’ll have the chance to stretch your legs and grab a snack or drink.

Upon our arrival at our first stop, Utah Beach, you will have a break to enjoy lunch at Le Roosevelt Restaurant. The cost of lunch isn’t included in your tour price, but you can order anything you’d like from the menu.

Afterward, visit the Utah Beach Landing Museum inside a well-preserved German bunker. Learn how the United States armed forces stormed the beaches and successfully took this beach, codenamed “Utah,” with relatively few casualties.

You’ll also see the Higgins Boat monument commemorating the amphibious landing craft and have the opportunity to pay your respects at the Utah Beach Memorial.

It’s a short ride to our next destination: the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial at Omaha Beach. You can explore the visitor center and see the permanent exhibition, including a film that shows the role of the American forces in World War II.

Next, we have a special opportunity to view the wreath-laying ceremony in the American cemetery, a site of peaceful remembrance. Take time to reflect and honor the service and sacrifice of WWII veterans. Your group may even be chosen to participate in the ceremony!

After you’ve had time to explore the beach, we will start our journey back to Paris. Take this time to reflect on everything you’ve seen before we arrive back at Place du Trocadéro, where we started from.

Reviews

Imad was our tour guide and did a wonderful job. His historical knowledge of WWII was amazing! His outline from the rise of the Nazi party through the end of the war was highly educational for my teenage daughters. I highly recommend this tour.

Great D-Day experience, full of history
Excellent tour. Imad, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable and engaging. He had a great depth of understanding of the events of WWII and set the stage for the visit very well during the drive time. He also had visual aids to help enhance the experience. Highly recommend!
