Do you love the Netflix show Emily in Paris? Have you ever dreamt of walking in her footsteps or snapping photos to fill your Instagram with all the places she visits? If so, this guided walking tour is for you!
You’ll see where Emily lives, the “hot chef” Gabriel’s restaurant, and “La Boulangerie Moderne” where Emily had her first pain au chocolat. Stop in quickly and try one if you’d like!
Next, wander down a narrow cobblestone passageway, dating all the way back to 1734. It’s no surprise it’s home to the oldest restaurant in Paris. Along the way, you’ll learn about the museum that holds a true fortune: a collection of 300,000 coins, medals, tokens, and monetary treasures. It’s also where Emily attended a fashion show and an auction. Maybe you remember the scene?
Walking by the Seine, we will see the famous Parisian department store, La Samaritaine, where Emily went shopping with her French class colleague.
As we cross the Pont des Arts, admire the views of the Seine. You’ll notice that this is where Mindy played with her band. We have many more places to visit, all of them Instagrammable — especially the black-and-white striped Colonnes de Buren (or Buren’s Columns) at the Domaine National du Palais-Royal. You may want to bring a portable charger for your phone to take even more photos! We will also visit the area where Emily works and the garden where she meets Mindy. And on our way, we’ll pass through two world-famous shopping streets, Rue de Rivoli and Rue Saint Honoré.
At each stop and all along the way, your Parisian guide will tell you about French fashion, food, culture, and more while pointing out the best photo ops, making this a truly immersive experience.
Our tour ends at Avenue de L’Opéra. We recommend a self-guided visit to Place Vendôme and the Palais Garnier nearby.
Place Vendôme is one of the city’s most beautiful neoclassical squares, filled with luxury boutiques and hotels like the ultra-chic Ritz Paris, and Hôtel Évreux, where Emily attended an influencer event.
And Opéra Garnier is the world’s most famous opera house, a symbol of Paris, and another place Emily loved. You can also stop by the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, the famous French department store, just a five-minute walk away. The rooftop terrace is the same place Emily met Camille and made their pact. The views are amazing!
