Reviews
A magnificent dive into the history of Rome. The first half of the tour, started from the Circus Maximus to the Colosseum, to the Foro Romano , to the Foro Imperiale till Piazza Venezia, and took us through the start of Rome from the Etruschian Era tho the start and evolution of Rome as a republic then as an Empire and the print left by the various Roman emperors, then the Christianity establishment and the evolution of the city under the church then to more modern times... The second half of the tour was a discovery of marvelous monuments like Piazza Navona, the Pantheon , Fontana di Trevi and Piazza di Spania commented by our guide Gabriella with an alternation of historical facts , anecdotes, tales of myths and legend. I really appreciated her commendable knowledge of Roman history and her light approach of reciting it without making you feel overwhelmed with the historical details or bored with such an amazing and eventful history of this amazing city.
